This image and website are talking about the war in the middle east. I think that children need to learn about this, because they are living in history right now. In a few years this war will be in the text books they read everyday in history. Being informed about something that is probably directly effecting their lives is very important to know about

I just did a project on polar bears. I think the topic of polar bears, or any animal in the north pole is very important to learn about. I had no ideas the affects global warming are having on polar bears, and other animal. Polar bears are now on the endangered species list. And at this rate they will probably be extinct soon.
Webquest
I did a webquest about anatomy. Where a group of students had to learn about the different systems in our body. The nervous system, the digestive system, bones, muscles, and circulatory. I found a lot of different websites to help the students learn things about the different systems, and a few different webquests about anatomy. Most of them were for younger students, and i made mine for 8th graders. They had to learn the material and then present it to the younger grades.
scavenger hunt

1. The archive we are looking at in class today is on trains and railroads. There are many different types and many different places where the are necessary.
2.There are 28 different pictures to organize into groups. You can organize them into any groups you would like. For example you can organized them into pictures with trains in them and pictures without trains in the. Or you could even be more specific then than, it is up to you.
3. This assignment is to help you learn about different railroads and trains. So you can see how long they have been around and the different types of railroads. By seeing how many categories you can make and how specific you can get will show me how much you learned about trains and railroads
